massive episode for someone like me who cut their teeth online on tumblr during this time…also hari really pinpointed how kids rapidly learnt the vocabulary to describe their marginalisation, and before long, were constantly engaged in these digital knife fights over who did what problematic behaviour, who still followed who after the callout post, who didn’t check their privilege…..wonder how urfaveisproblematic is doing today LOL..but yeah wonderful episode!! hari is so insightful and hilarious, she was always on our moodboards in the day

This was a really good read, and what a coincidence, I’ve often wondered about them after tumblr!! it truly fatigued both posters and readers to always have this arm stretched, pointing out ‘the wrong’ in fear of being (or being accused of being) in ‘the wrong’, so i’m glad that at least kids have put the knives down a little. hope liat has a wayyy chiller life online if she still logs on x
